11.1 Box set profile variant

Notwithstanding rules expressed elsewhere in this part of the ERN standard a release of any type marked as being of a box set profile variant shall meet the following rules:

  1. The main release composite of a box set profile variant release shall contain at least two ResourceGroups of type ReleaseComponent that do not represent the full box set.

  2. Each of these ResourceGroups shall meet the relevant requirements laid out in Clauses 6, 7 and 8 for their respective profile and may contain further ResourceGroups as needed.

  3. The identifier of the component releases that make up the box set release shall be placed into the ReleaseId composite of the relevant ResourceGroups.
