6.9 DJ mix profile

Description

A music release comprising at least one sound recording as the Primary Resource (the mix) plus a cover image. The mix is made up from a series of Secondary Resource sound recordings that are not directly referenced from the release.

Rule

A NewReleaseMessage that uses this profile shall include a main release as detailed below and meet all the rules defined in Clauses 7 and 8.4.

Main release

 

One Release composite containing:

  • A ReleaseProfileVersionId populated in accordance with Clause 7.6.1;

  • Primary Resources:

    • 1-n SoundRecordings of type MusicalWorkSoundRecording;

    • 0-n SoundRecordings of type SpokenWordSoundRecording;

  • Secondary Resources:

    • 0-n SoundRecordings of type MusicalWorkSoundRecording; and

    • 1 Image of type FrontCoverImage or Poster (for static or animated cover art);

    • 0-1 Video of type FrontCoverVideo (for animated cover art).

Track Release

One TrackRelease composite for each Primary Resource contained in the main release as defined in Clause 9.
