The provisions within this part of the ERN standard are specific to Version 4.3 of Part 1 of the ERN standard. However, users of older versions of Part 1 of the ERN standard are encouraged to still follow the rules defined herein wherever technically and practically possible as the provisions within this part of the ERN standard are accepted best practice for the communication of release information.
