With regard to ReleaseTypes the following rules apply to all main releases:

The table below shows which ReleaseTypes may be used in which profile. Other combinations are not encouraged.
Notwithstanding the above, the value UserDefined may always be communicated.
It is permitted to communicate more than one ReleaseType for a release as long as all ReleaseTypes are marked as valid in the table below.
